We are in the process of growing our network of travel agents (consultants) and encourage all those who understand the value of customer service, continuing positive client relationships, and are passionate for travel of any kind, to apply.

Being a travel agent, you will be responsible for creating, promoting, and booking travel itineraries for cruises and all kinds of events, both business and leisure. While Elk Spring Travel specializes in cruises, we also work with a number of event and excursion lines.

Responsibilities:

• Become familiar with various destinations/events on topics such as weather, restrictions, pricing, etc.

• Inquire with clients to fully understand their expectations for their trip

• Offer multiple options to clients that meet their travel needs

• Book trips for clients, ensuring all information is accurate

• Maintain client/agent relationship & be available in the event of a need

• Provide clients with all necessary travel documentation they'll require on their trip

• Collect payments

• Ensure all confidential documents are maintained in a secure & safe manner

• Maintain a record of all client travel documentation, personal information, & financial statements

• Remotely attend all necessary or required training

Requirements:

• Be 18 years-old or older

• Be a resident within the USA

• Have reliable internet & a device to work from (phone, laptop, PC, etc.)

• Be fluent in English (with other languages being a bonus)

• Be willing to work in a commission based position

• Have strong communication skills

• Have a willingness to learn & grow
